With an hieratic gesture, a firm pulse and a complete absence of contemplation, he shot the man between the eyebrows, without letting him finish nor prayers nor pleadings. Then he witnessed the most incredible of events: instead of blood, particles of light began to emerge, levitating into the air as they were released from the hole the bullet left. The accumulated pressure made the body explode, liberating an impressive display of stardust which ended up illuminating the entire space on that black night, as dark as hatred.
Such things happened the day they executed the last taxidermist.

Con el gesto hierático, el pulso firme y una total ausencia de contemplación, le metió el tiro entre ceja y ceja, sin dejarle terminar ni plegarias ni ruegos. Entonces, fue testigo del más increíble de los acontecimientos: en lugar de sangre, partículas de luz comenzaron a brotar del agujero dejado por la bala, las cuales levitaban al entrar en contacto con el aire. La presión que acumulaban hizo estallar el cuerpo, liberando un impresionante derroche de polvo de estrellas, que terminó iluminando por completo el espacio de aquella noche negra, tan oscura como el odio mismo.
Tales hechos acontecieron el día en que ajusticiaron al último de los taxidermista.
